Assuming Intel can volume produce the complex chips on 18A, of course. So far they're only printing smaller chips while fixing yield issues (which is perfectly normal).

AMD or Intel or ARM it doesn't matter as long as Windows 11 is still a slop filled dumpster bin of ads and promotions and pre-installed garbage. There needs to be a wave of Linux offerings from OEMs to matter, or even better a stripped down version of Windows.

All the money is in AI GPUs now, making a comeback on desktop / laptop chips doesn't mean a whole lot. There is money in taking back servers but that's also gonna be tough, considering Epyc is on the verge of another process node leap (2nm).
