FSD feature becomes a $99/month subscription. Still bending the definition of "full self driving", it's worth noting. Probably explains this:

Worth noting Musk's $1 trillion dollar pay package is contingent on FSD reaching 10 million active subscriptions.

This actually seems like a risky move. Users could try FSD for a month or two, realize you still have to drive a lot of the time, and cut the $100 monthly expense. With the upfront package Tesla gets your money whether you like FSD or not.
