This sounds crazy to me. What percentage of drives can be done on a battery that charges overnight in your garage. Probably more than 99%? The vast majority of the time you are only going to drop off the kids at school, to work, to the grocery store, etc. You don't need 500 miles of range to do that. I'd bet the average golf cart would be sufficient for most people, never mind a sedan with 350 miles of range. Blows my mind how closed minded Americans are.
