Can't make this up - WDB is now planning to split up into two public companies once again, sometime next year. They will separate into a streaming and studios company (including HBO Max), and a global networks company (including CNN, TNT Sports, and Discovery). Current CEO David Zaslav will lead the streaming / studio company, while CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels will become CEO of the global networks business.
