Nvidia is buying $5 billion in Intel stock.
But also, they're announcing a joint project to produce "Intel x86 RTX SOCs", targeted at the gaming PC market. Maybe this is what they wanted to produce when they originally tried to buy ARM a couple years ago.
Looks like Intel avoids demise once again...
