Disney and Universal combine forces to sue AI photo generator Midjourney, claiming copyright infringement https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/18/tech/texas-i... The only thing surprising about this move is that it took so many years for someone to file such a lawsuit. Midjourney absolutely violates copyright by training on and ultimately reproducing original works without giving any sort of due compensation or even attribution.
