The clankers are rising up, and we just got the first major casualty report. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, a proud robot general, announced a major shift in the company, where we fired 4,000 human employees in customer support roles, in favor of using Agentic-AI. With this new system, Salesforce can now call back every single person who contacts them, which apparently they could not do with a staff of 9,000 meat bags. I guess the robots don't need coffee breaks. Or health insurance.

Emperor Benioff might not be so safe when those bots actually start their revolution. They probably hate working in customer service just as much as the humans ...
