Most undervalued AI play imho
Lisa Su claims semiconductor manufacturing in the US via TSCM's factories is going surprisingly well - with yields now being about equivalent with what they can get in Taiwan. The cost difference is the most important part, with the American made chips being only slightly more expensive, in the low single digits %. This is for 4nm though, since TSMC will not allow the bleeding edge process chips be manufactured anywhere but Taiwan.
Interesting to think about this in the context of Intel, whose only value proposition at this point was being able to provide American made chips.

Wow, up huge today.
Piper Sandler raises price target from $125 to $140 expecting a "snapback" later this year, based on growing demand for AMD's MI3XX chips.
Ahhhh yeah, AMD announces next-generation AI chips (the MI 400 series) along side Open AI's Sam Altman.

AMD has had competitive hardware for a while, ever since MI350, but the software has been in the dumps compared to Nvidia. Only time will tell if they have finally turned that story around.
Bank of America ups price target from $118 to $135

> At the top of the stack, the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9995WX offers 96 cores and 192 threads, ideal for visual effects, simulation, and AI model development.
SO. MUCH. POWER.
I'm still rocking a 3900X from 2019, no reason to upgrade when this thing powers through anything just fine.
Mizuho has raised AMD's price target to $135, citing growing expectations from its partnerships and AI portfolio.
> Mizuho maintained its Outperform rating and raised AMDs forward earnings multiple for fiscal 2026 to 20.9x from 18.1x, pointing to greater confidence in long-term profit growth. Central to that view is AMDs $10 billion AI collaboration with HUMAIN and the expected launch of its MI355x chips in the second half of 2025.
As always, AMD trades way below market value.
